Payments to AWATEA

You can make payment to AWATEA for participation in its functions in a number of different ways.  AWATEA welcomes direct payment to its account as follows:

Direct Payment

Bank of New Zealand will accept direct payments by telegraphic transfer at home and overseas.  Bank of New Zealand will charge NZ$15 for each transaction.  Please ensure that you include this additional NZ$15 in your remittance.  Your own bank may also levy a transaction charge, which you will need to account for in your payment.

Payments can be made to:
Account:                        Aotearoa Wave and Tidal Energy Association
Bank/branch code:         02 - 0500
Account number:            0800215 – 000
Bank:                             Bank of New Zealand
Branch:                          1 Willis Street, Wellington, 6011
Swift code:                     BKNZNZ22

Credit Card Payment

The Executive has investigated the option of setting up a credit card payment facility on the AWATEA website.  Currently, AWATEA receives only sporadic payments at the time of membership renewals (from 1 April each year) and for specific functions, such as the conference.  The costs of a credit card payment facility would be approximately 5% of the total transactions.  The Executive has decided for the time being not to proceed with such a facility, because it cannot bear such costs and does not believe members and registrants would accept a 5% surcharge on their membership and conference registration fees.

Mail

Cheques can be sent to AWATEA’s mail-box as follows:
